Dear music fans,
European Music Academy Foundation is an independent organisation which is entirely focused on young people. Our purpose is to provide proper conditions for the youngsters’ creativity and expression as we encourage them to build and develop cultural values of their own, improve their skills and acquire new. We want to motivate them to be active, to learn and to share but also we want to support them in their personal and professional growth as members of the Bulgarian society and the whole world.
The Idea for EMA was born in Varna. The official start was in the end of June 2015. The founder, Teodora Dimitrova, is a true fan of music.
The idea for master classes came after our desire to help the starting careers of young music talents and their professional development – by exact actions on the exact place. Every single one of us has our particular moment from the childhood when he felt alive for the first time. We come back to these moments and think that this is the moment when I became myself. My unforgettable moment like that was when I first heard Placido Domingo in La Scala. I was seven years old… You can’t fall in love with the art of opera bit by bit. It just fascinates on the moment or keeps you indifferent… To see the miracle of life through the eyes of a cheerful young person means for you to experience the biggest pleasure in the world.
EMA’s mission is to inspire youngsters to believe in themselves, to create their own values and purposes in life, to develop as a person and to be active and valuable part of the society. We believe that the young people must be encouraged to develop skills and talents and to be active part of projects, programs, activities and initiatives. We work in the area of music, art and education. Our efforts are invested in the creation of proper environment for creativity and expression for the youngsters and to show how the emotion, the energy, the passion, the inspiration and the desire to create may help in their own development as people and assist them to unfold their own cultural and intellectual values as well as to create purposes in life and to achieve them.
